ADS Ventures, Inc. is searching for a pro-active, detail-oriented individual with great interpersonal skills to join our team as a Government Affairs Associate. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree and office experience. Candidates should be able to support a number of clients and events in a fast-paced environment, work well on a team, and have excellent written and oral communication skills. Flexibility, assertiveness and comfort in working with high level and diverse professionals, and—most importantly—a sense of humor are essential. Candidates should be ready for a challenge, willing to learn and to self-motivate. Interest in and/or knowledge of the outdoor industry, nonprofit industry, or state and national politics a plus.

The Government Affairs Associate supports the Directors of Government Relations and Partners in a full range of client services. Tasks of the job include: drafting and editing press releases and other client documents; planning client events, visits and meetings on Capitol Hill; prospect, legislative and client specific research; event support and attendance; press tracking; other administrative and client services functions as needed.
