The Hispanic Lobbyists Association (HLA) is proud to announce the creation of its inaugural Advisory Council to provide guidance to the organization’s strategic direction and support its mission of empowering Hispanic professionals in government relations and public affairs.

While lobbying has become a multi-billion dollar industry, Latinos have historically not been part of it. There are approximately 30,000-40,000 lobbyists in Washington, D.C., but just a fraction are Latinos, and only a handful of lobbying firms are Latino-owned.
